Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you and Pladora Global Trading Pty Ltd (referred to as “Pladora”) (ABN 24 667 549 715) of 145 Parramatta Auburn, NSW 2144 , Australia. In this document, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Pladora.
1- Placing an Order
1.1 Pladora reserves the full right to accept or decline any order or part of an order at its sole discretion.
1.2 Upon Pladora’s acceptance of your deposit for the products, the order becomes immediately binding for both Pladora and you, and you are agreeing to adhere to all the terms and conditions stated in this document.
1.3 By placing an order and making a payment, whether it’s the full amount or a deposit, you acknowledge and confirm that you have determined the products are appropriate and fully meet your needs and intended use in every aspect.
2- Pricing Information
2.1 Prices for Pladora’s products are presented in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
2.2 The total cost of your order at checkout will include the product prices plus any additional fees for delivery and access checks.
2.3 You are responsible for all extra charges specified in these Terms, and Pladora will inform you of these charges as necessary.
2.4 If Pladora identifies a mistake in the pricing or payment of your ordered products, we will promptly inform you and offer the option to either confirm your order at the adjusted price or cancel it. If contact with you is not possible, the order will be deemed as cancelled.
2.5 In case of such cancellation:
(a) If a deposit was paid for the products, you will receive a complete refund of the deposit.
(b) If the full product price was paid, you will receive a full refund of that amount.
3. Payment terms:
3.1 Deposit Requirement: Most Pre-orders with Pladora necessitate a deposit to secure the purchase. This deposit acts as a commitment to the order. However, items that are on clearance and available Items are an exception to this rule; they typically do not require a deposit due to their discounted nature and immediate availability.
3.2 Final Payment Timeline: The balance of your payment for the products must be completed at least 3 business days before the scheduled delivery date. This allows for efficient processing and ensures that your order is ready for dispatch or collection as planned. Late payments could potentially delay the delivery process.
3.3 Payment Methods: Pladora accepts various forms of payment to provide flexibility for customers. These methods include but are not limited to credit/debit cards, online transfers, and cash payments. However, it’s important to note that personal or company cheques are not accepted. This policy is likely due to the processing time and potential complications associated with cheque payments.
3.4 Responsibility for Payment-Related Costs: Any additional charges incurred during the payment process, such as bank transfer fees or currency conversion fees, fall under the customer’s responsibility. These costs vary depending on the payment method and financial institutions involved. Customers are advised to consider these potential extra costs when choosing their payment method.
3.5 Sales Order as Proof of Purchase: Once you have made your deposit, Pladora will issue a Sales Order. This document serves as an official confirmation of your purchase and outlines the details of your order, including the products purchased, the total cost, and the payment terms. The Sales Order is an important document for both record-keeping and as proof of transaction, especially useful if there are any queries or issues with the order at a later stage.
4. Delivery and Collection:
4.1 Delivery or Collection Option: At Pladora, you have the choice of having your products delivered to your address or picking them up yourself. This flexibility allows you to select the option that best suits your convenience and needs.
4.2 Collection Terms for Different Products: The terms for collecting items yourself vary depending on what you purchase. For larger items, special arrangements might be needed, while smaller items can be picked up more easily.
5-Delay in Delivery of Furniture for Pladora
5.1 Pladora is not responsible for any delays in fulfilling its obligations, including delays caused by factors outside its reasonable control. This includes unforeseen circumstances that could impede the delivery process.
5.2 Pladora will make every reasonable effort to adhere to the estimated delivery date. However, if we are unable to meet this estimated date, our liability is limited to rescheduling the delivery at a later time convenient for both parties.
5.3 If Pladora, or any of our suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, or carriers, encounters a Force Majeure Event or Insolvency Event that delays or prevents us from delivering your furniture by the estimated delivery date, we reserve the right to either extend the delivery period or cancel the order. If the Force Majeure Event persists for more than 14 days, we may do so without any liability to you.
5.4 Definitions: A ‘Force Majeure Event’ includes natural disasters, fires, earthquakes, floods, severe weather conditions, strikes, lockouts, pandemics, or governmental actions that are beyond our control and unexpected at the time of receiving your order.
An ‘Insolvency Event’ includes situations where bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings are initiated against a party, or any similar events occur under the law of any jurisdiction.
6-Product Variations and Specifications for Pladora
6.1 The actual product you receive from Pladora may slightly differ from showroom samples or website images. This is particularly true for items like soft furniture where appearance and characteristics such as creasing and softness can vary. Leather products may show natural marks and variations in color and texture.
6.2 Pladora reserves the right to make minor modifications in dimensions, design, and construction to enhance product quality. These changes, if any, will be internal and not noticeable to the customer.
7-Product Suitability at Pladora
7.1 Please select your products carefully as Pladora does not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or if the products don’t meet your expectations. We are only responsible for ensuring product suitability for its intended use if it is explicitly agreed upon in writing. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for products damaged while in your possession.
8-Warranty by Pladora
8.1 Pladora provides warranties for specific products and their components, details of which are available on our website.
8.2 Under Australian Consumer Law, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. In case of major service failures, you are entitled to cancel the contract and receive a refund or compensation. For major failures with goods, you can choose between a refund or replacement.
8.3 In case of a minor failure, you are entitled to have the product repaired within a reasonable timeframe. If this is not done, you can seek a refund or cancel the contract for service and obtain a refund for any unused portion.
9-Liability of Pladora
9.1 Pladora’s liability is limited as per law and does not cover indirect losses or damages caused by delayed delivery or product use. Our maximum liability for any breach of warranty is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
10–Inspection of Products and Claims
10.1 Upon delivery, inspect your products and report any damages immediately. For any claims, contact Pladora with order details and a description of the issue. you have 48 hours to report any Manufacturing damages and defects.
11-Accuracy of Information
11.1 While Pladora endeavors to ensure accurate product and pricing information, we are not liable for any errors on our website or showrooms. The most accurate price will be the one displayed at our showrooms.
12-Intellectual Property
12.1 All intellectual property rights of products remain with Pladora. Customers should not engage in activities that infringe on these rights.
13-Privacy Policy
13.1 Pladora collects personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website and upon request.
14- Indemnity
14.1 You agree to indemnify Pladora against any liability, loss, or damage arising from your breach of these Terms.
15 -Governing Law
15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
16- Refund of purchased Goods
16.1 Please choose carefully as we do not refund or exchange if you change your mind or make a wrong selection.
16.2 We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. you are entitle to full refund, store credit or replacement of the product. please contact us to arrange the return of the damaged goods.
